Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser (1972)

Muscle cars were predominantly two-door hardtop coupes or convertibles, but such was the list of options available with many models, that a shrewd and wealthy buyer could come up with something completely different. That's what's happened with this full-specification Oldsmobile wagon, kitted out with a full 4-4-2 W-30 package. Only three of these cars were ever built and the package options have equipped it with heavy-duty suspension, front and rear anti-roll bars, a glass-fibre hood with cold-air intake for the huge 455ci (7,456cc) engine, a Positraction limited-slip differential, and 3.73:1 gears, plus it has the practicality of a family hauler with rear massive luggage space and a roof rack. In this particular car the engine has been fully balanced and blueprinted, meaning it puts out at least the factory-rated figures, but more likely it's actually slightly higher.
