Ford Mustang Boss 302 (1969)

While the Boss 302 was a rare machine that went to driving enthusiasts or, more often, racers, enough made it into the hands of modifiers, and the car provided a great base on which to start work. The owner of this Boss has further lowered the suspension with different coil springs up front and reverse-eye leaf springs at the rear. Relocated arms ensure correct geometry on the front double wishbones, as this car is made to handle and has virtually zero body roll through corners, thanks to the anti-roll bars front and rear. The 302 engine has been fitted with the race-type injection stacks that poke through the hood, for extended rpm use through the Borg Warner T10 manual gearbox and 4.11:1 geared Ford 9-inch (229mm) rear end. Magnesium rims at 8 inches (203mm) wide with modern Goodyear 225/50ZR15 low-profile tyres complete the style.
